Kenny Crowley

Raised in the South and the Midwest, Kenny shared a musical upbringing steeped in good old fashioned rock n' roll, blues, folk, Americana, and mountain music. Eventually migrating to the west coast and becoming deeply influenced by the funk, soul, and gospel traditions of the Bay area California, troubadour Kenny Crowley now channels these sounds into his music. He has taken his wide range of musical stylings and influences and crafted them into a style all his own, which he likes to call 'Authentic American Roots Music'.

As an artist and as a performer, Crowley strives to connect with his audience on a human level. "The music that really inspires me is music that I can relate to, that takes me through an experience, that makes me feel something real. When I write my music I pour myself into it, and it truly comes from a genuine place. I want people that listen to be able to connect with that."

Whether crooning solo with his guitar, or backed by a powerhouse ensemble of musicians, Kenny's eclectic mix of original music 'lights up the night' in his debut album "High on the World", which he now presents as a collection of love songs to the world. [+]
