Kenny Taylor Band

Kenny Taylor, of the Kenny Taylor Band, is a singer/songwriter based out of California's central coast. Born and raised in Minnesota, Kenny was inspired by music from John Lennon, Dave Matthews, and Ben Gibbard. In college, he taught himself how to play on a borrowed, nylon string guitar and started to put pen to paper. Shortly, Kenny found himself with a few notebooks full of scribbles and a sound that is a blend of Pop/Americana.

After moving to California, Kenny decided to make his dream a reality and focused on his music career. He started booking gigs all over the San Luis Obispo County as a solo artist, but then invited others to play with him, at which point the Kenny Taylor Band was formed. Their debut album, "Little but Live," recently released on iTunes, was recorded at the Nautical Bean Coffee House in San Luis Obispo. The band and the music is ever-growing and evolving, now featuring an additional guitarist, bassist, percussionist and saxophonist to amplify Kenny's original music with high energy and depth.

The Kenny Taylor Band can now be heard in Los Angeles, booking gigs at The Mint and more venues to come!
