Kevin M. Wilcock

Kevin Wilcock advises major national and international clients on project and acquisition financing as well as on structured corporate loans. A major focus of his work is advising national and international clients on asset, project, and acquisition financing in the energy and renewables sector as well as on structured corporate loans. He also advises on the lending and the borrowing side of transactions and on corporate law issues.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2016, Kevin worked in the banking & finance practice of a leading international law firm in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt. During this time he advised a consortium of international banks on the €1.2 billion financing of an offshore wind farm off the northern coast of Germany called "Nordsee One." Kevin also advised Italian company Enel Green Power SpA and its South African subsidiary on the financing of the Gibson Bay wind farm in South Africa by KfW IPEX-Bank in a total volume of 2.1 billion South African Rand (approximately €160 million) and advised a lender in the financing connected to the development of a "designer outlet center" based in Germany.
