For several years Kris was the writer and front man for the Atlanta based punk band “MUTT”. Kris has written and recorded many albums for several different acts. Kris wrote and performed all the instruments himself for his debut album “ANDERSON”. He is also the writer and creator of the indie alternative rock group "Awake For". Awake For's music can be found at Kris Anderson is a highly accomplished guitar instructor and native Georgian. A graduate of the Atlanta Institute of Music, Anderson has proficiency in a variety of different styles; including jazz, country, rock classical, and punk.

An active performer, session guitar player, and songwriter, Kris has toured internationally both performing and hosting clinics in Italy, Poland, Great Britain, Germany, France and several other European countries. Among the many accolades and achievements he has gained, Kris has had the opportunity to work with Grammy award winning artist such as Bryan White and has been featured on several esteemed local and national radio programs.

Not only does Anderson maintain an active membership with the Nashville Songwriters association, but he is also an established member of the Atlanta Guitar Guild and an endorsed artist by Fred Kelly Picks through his Dixie Jazz group The VaudeVillains, and he is also the founder of the Rockmart Community Centers musical program. Kris now resides somewhere between Dallas and Rockmart Ga teaching music and performing all over the east coast. [+]
