Mr. Davis represents clients in patent litigation before district courts, the ITC and the USPTO. His cases have involved such technologies as software applications, graphics processors, telecommunications, computer memories, semiconductor architecture, automotive control systems and medical devices.
Mr. Davis is experienced in all phases of district court and ITC litigation, including pre-suit analysis, fact and expert discovery, motion practice, claim construction and trial. He also has represented clients in inter partes review and reexamination proceedings, prosecuted patent applications, and evaluated license agreements for IP acquisitions.
Mr. Davis currently serves on the firm’s Technology Committee. He is also the vice chair of membership for the American Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Law Section and is a member of the ABA’s Patent Litigation Committee.
During law school, Mr. Davis served as notes and comments editor of the University of Illinois Law Review and was elected into the Order of the Coif. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois.
