Kyle Sinkule, a singer and songwriter is from West, Texas. He grew up in a musical household whith a father who played multiple instruments in various bands, which meant he was always around a song. The radio also played a part in Kyle's musical vocabulary. Country, Pop Top 40, and Classic Rock were always within earshot. Growing up with Christian influence shapes many of the songs Kyle writes today.
Johnny Cash, George Strait, Third Day, David Crowder* Band, Switchfoot, John Mark McMillan, and Tenth Avenue North are just some of the artists that were early influences for Kyle. He also finds inspiration from songwriters like Sean McConnell, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Dallas Green.
Kyle often draws inspiration for his songs from Old Testament Bible stories, the writings of St. Paul, and from nature. Elements of folk, country, and rock music are staples in his songs. He will often build his songs around a country or folk-style chord progression, adding in elements of other genres as the song evolves.
Since Kyle's start in music, he has recorded and released "Promised Land" (Single-2015), played for church worship services, and opened the Rise Up Rally in Waco, Texas that included artists Chris August, REVERE, The Afters, and Sidewalk Prophets. He is currently recording his new album set to release in the Spring of 2016 produced by Chris Clayton. [+]
