Laura Carey is an associate in the Boston office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm's Litigation & Trial Department. Ms. Carey focuses on white collar criminal defense and internal investigations. In her pro bono practice, she focuses on matters relating to civil and human rights.
Ms. Carey attended NYU Law School where she was a Dean's Scholar, a staff editor for the Journal of International Law and Politics, and a member of the International Human Rights Clinic. Upon graduation, Ms. Carey was awarded the Ann Petluck Poses Memorial Prize for outstanding work in a clinical course requiring student practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Carey practiced in the New York office of another leading law firm.
