Leona Lee

Leona Lee (born Leona Elicia Surles) is an American actress, singer-songwriter, dancer, musician, and model. She is of Trinidadian, Venezuelan and American heritage. She is the middle child of five. Lee began singing at the age of 3 and playing the piano at the age of 5. She started her acting career at the age of 5 on the children’s television show, Barney And Friends. Leona began her acting career at the age of 5. She was trained at KD Studios and Barbizon in Dallas. Barney was her first acting job. She did a few commercial such as: Rent-A-Center, Aarons, and GameStop. In April 2012, Leona competed in a convention called M.A.A.I. She won awards, that included Television Commercial, Talent, and Monologue. She also received a scholarship to New York Film Academy. Currently, Leona released her debut EP, "The Dawn". “I feel like my music tells true stories about my outlook on life and other things that go on in my head.” The EP consists of 6 songs: “Good Thing”, “Moving On”, “Trial”, “Come Correct”, and “Why Do I Love You” and “Release Me”.
