Letters To Abigail

Letters to Abigail is an Appalachian/Americana band based in Western North Carolina. Some folks describe their music as a simple southern pleasure. Digging down into the roots of the region, they blend a classic approach to a new original sound, drenched in powerful lyrics, acoustic melodies and soulful harmonies.

Letters To Abigail released their debut CD, “Say Anything” in July 2013. The full length album was recorded at the internationally recognized and award winning Echo Mountain Recording Studios in Asheville, NC.

By assembling an all star team of musicians to contribute on this recording, Letters To Abigail has put themselves in the position to capture the undivided attention of music fans and the industry. The CD boasts three Grammy Award Winners; Adam Steffey on mandolin (Alison Krauss, Mountain Heart and the Boxcars) Nicky Sanders on fiddle (Steep Canyon Rangers, Steve Martin and Edie Brickell) and David Holt on clawhammer banjo (Hee Haw, Doc Watson, PBS). This album also features Texas Pedal Steel Hall of Famer, Doyle Grisham (George Jones, Randy Travis, and Jimmy Buffet and the Coral Reefer Band).
