Lindsay Murphy focuses her practice on the design, implementation, and administration of tax qualified and nonqualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans, including defined benefit and defined contribution plans, employee stock option plans, and executive and deferred compensation plans. Her practice is concentrated on regulatory compliance with the Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Lindsay advises clients on plan correction issues under the IRS Employees Plan Compliance Resolution System and the Department of Labor Voluntary Fiduciary Correction Program. She also represents clients before the IRS and DOL in audit matters.Lindsay is a member of the American Bar Association and the Dallas Bar Association (Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Section).
