Lindsey Lonergan

Lindsey Lonergan practices in the areas of health care and life sciences law and litigation. She focuses her practice on health care litigation, including federal and state False Claims Act litigation, government audits, and OIG/DOJ investigations. In addition, she advises health care providers on general regulatory matters, including fraud and abuse analysis, corporate compliance programs, reimbursement and billing, and HIPAA privacy and security regulations. Lindsey also has experience advising on due diligence issues related to health care provider acquisitions.

Prior to attending law school, Lindsey served as a health policy analyst at the Health Resources and Services Administration, where she focused on federal reimbursement and Medicaid managed care issues. In addition, she served as a research associate at the Georgia Health Policy Center and provided strategic planning and other business consulting services to health care providers nationwide. In that role, she also advised multiple state agencies and committees, including the Georgia Rural Development Council, on issues related to Medicaid, rural health, and reimbursement. Furthermore, Lindsey was manager of network development at WellCare of Georgia and responsible for provider contracting state-wide. [1]
