The Ottobratica variety, exclusive to the province of Reggio Calabria and found throughout the plain of Gioia Tauro and its surrounding hills, is so-called because its ideal point of maturation culminates in the month of October. Its aroma is delicately fruity, vigorous and persistent with notes of fresh herbs with a scent of wild cardoon and ripe golden apple.
