LynnDon 2009 Proprietary Red Blend Reserve

This is a complex red blend produced from the Paso Robles region on California's Central Coast. This region is known for producing rich, full-bodied red wines, so it's no wonder winemaker Don Baker selected Paso Robles fruit for his inaugural Meritage Reserve blend. This unique blend pulls influence from both France and Spain to create a wine that is completely different, yet beautifully balanced with a vast array of flavors and aromas. The 2009 Meritage Reserve has a complex blend of aromas, including notes of cherries, blackberries, plums, cedar and vanilla. The flavors continue with rich fruit characters of cranberry, red cherry, blueberry and barrel spice, lingering on the palate with a soft texture and smooth tannins. [+]
