Mae Shan Chong

Mae Shan Chong has almost 20 years of experience advising corporations, private equity funds, infrastructure funds, and investment banks on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, venture investments, buyouts, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations.

Mae has advised clients on transactions across the Asia-Pacific region, including China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Myanmar. Prior to joining Jones Day, she practised in London, Singapore, and Malaysia where her representative clients have included Apax Partners, CHAMP Private Equity, Challenger Emerging Markets Infrastructure Fund, CLSA Capital Partners, EDBI, Hermes GPE, LGV Capital, Nestlé Waters, and PT Pertamina Persero.
