Manuel Deó is a partner in the Corporate Department of Latham & Watkins' Madrid office. He currently serves on the firm’s Recruiting and Technology Committees.
Mr. Deó's practice focuses primarily on representing leading private equity houses and other domestic and international privately held and public companies on cross-border mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and restructuring transactions.
He also represents major corporations and investment banks on a variety of corporate finance transactions, including Rule 144A and Reg S high-yield offerings, and other debt and equity capital markets offerings.
Mr. Deó is listed as one of the most outstanding “up and coming” lawyers in Chambers Europe’s 2015 guide. He was recently listed in PFM´s "30 under 40" as one of the most influential private equity lawyers under the age of forty. Mr. Deó is recommended in the categories of Corporate and M&A Law (Spain) in Best Lawyers 2014.
In 2011, he was seconded to Latham's New York office.
