Marc Levitt is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins, and focuses his practice primarily on complex environmental regulatory issues and litigation. Mr. Levitt has represented and advised clients in Clean Air Act enforcement matters, conducting transactional environmental diligence and compliance with the Endangered Species Act, Toxic Substances Control Act, the Clean Water Act and other federal environmental statutes.
Additionally, Mr. Levitt has represented clients in matters involving enforcement of sanctions, healthcare fraud, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and federal white collar criminal and internal investigations. He also provides representation to public and private companies responding to inquiries by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
Prior to law school, Mr. Levitt developed energy policy at the US Department of Energy in the Office of Policy and International Affairs and studied modern German literature as a Fulbright Scholar in Potsdam, Germany.
