Martin S. King

Martin King focuses his practice on energy and resources. He has experience in the preparation and conduct of international commercial arbitrations concerning offshore and maritime construction, drilling, and shipping and in the development of corporate governance policies for regionally listed oil and gas and resources companies. He also has investigated and drafted numerous opinions regarding the security and effectiveness of over riding royalty agreements and net profits interest agreements and handled due diligence for mid-cap oil and gas entities preparing for listings on the Port Moresby Stock Exchange (POMSoX), Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX), and Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).

Prior to joining Jones Day, Martin worked at a law firm in Australia and was also a member of the Australian military for 10 years prior to commencing his legal practice. [1]
