Mary Alexander Myers

Mary Alexander Myers has been involved in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including securities litigation, contract, and other complex commercial disputes. She has represented clients in the energy industry. Her experience covers discovery and trial preparation, including factual investigation, depositions, mediation, and motion practice. Most recently, Mary Alexander represented Georgia Power Company in a three-year litigation concerning more than $1 billion in alleged cost overruns relating to the licensing, design, and construction of Vogtle Units 3 & 4, the first new nuclear projects licensed in the U.S. in more than 30 years.

Mary Alexander also has been involved in a range of cybersecurity and data privacy matters. She counsels clients on data privacy issues, outsourcing transactions, technology transactions, and other related matters. Mary Alexander advises clients on data breach response and other information security-related issues, including pre-breach cybersecurity risk assessment and management, compliance, response preparedness, and other risk mitigation activities.
