The Maryland Bar Journal is the Maryland State Bar Association's showcase publication. It is a four-color magazine, averaging about 64 pages per issue and is published on a bi-monthly basis. Each issue is devoted to a legal theme and this theme is carried through the magazine by the editorial content, the graphics, the photography and the cover. The Maryland Bar Journal keeps members abreast of legal trends, informed about updates and changes in the law and educated with respect to substantive areas of the law. Most issues contain seven to eight feature stories addressing various aspects of the theme. Other articles of general legal interest are also included in each issue for balance. The Maryland Bar Journal is designed in an attractive, easy-to-read-format, and is written by volunteer attorneys and carries professional advertising.
