Meghan McCall Hansen

Meghan Hansen is an associate in the Litigation & Trial Department of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm's White Collar Defense & Investigations Practice. Ms. Hansen advises and assists clients regarding interactions with state and federal agencies, such as responding to government investigations or subpoenas and regulatory reporting. Ms. Hansen also assists clients in a diverse array of internal investigations regarding issues such as international commercial compliance, trade regulations, environmental compliance and corruption. Ms. Hansen has developed particular expertise in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and trade sanctions, and advises on these issues in a variety of contexts, from implementation of compliance programs and managing day-to-day compliance to diligence in connection with mergers, acquisitions and financing arrangements.

Ms. Hansen also represents clients in civil litigation, focusing on cases with criminal or regulatory and civil components.

Additionally, Ms. Hansen has devoted considerable time to pro bono work, gaining trial and negotiation experience through landlord-tenant litigation, cases related to violations of constitutional rights and representing asylum seekers and victims of human trafficking.
