Mgulani Hostel operated by The Salvation Army now has more than 20 new built bungalows available for individual guests or up to 3 persons per bungalow. A restaurant is available for all meals, and a kiosk is always open for snacks, refreshments and cold drinks. The hostel also hosts events as conference center with air conditioned classrooms suitable to groups up to 100 persons. WiFi is included for Deluxe and optional for other bungalow bookings.

Mgulani Hostel is found minutes away from Dar es Salaam city located along Kilwa Road, the main road from the south into town. Located roughly between Nyerere International airport and Zanzibar ferry.
State House, Kigamboni beach ferry at 7 kilometers and Dar es Salaam Seaport at 3 kilometers.
National Stadium & Uhuru Stadium located next door at walking distance.

Each bungalow has private shower and toilet area. The bungalows are equipped according the standard but all have new beds, mattresses and mosquito netting. We have bungalows with and without AC. The bungalows vary in standard and price: Standard, Standard Plus & Deluxe.
Also new dormitory building with 2 self contained rooms plus 15 other rooms with bunk beds.

Cancellation policy: 48 hours before arrival.
Payment upon arrival by cash. However we will also offer guest possibility to pay at t our Reception through a payment terminal that accepts Mastercard and (Tanzanian bank) NMB cards.

Check in from 12:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 10:00 .
We except variation depending on flight times.
