Michael Allman Band

Michael Allman, born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida, is lead vocalist and frontman to the Michael Allman Band. Michael looks and sounds almost identical to his father, legendary rocker Gregg Allman, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, rock and blues singer-songwriter, keyboardist, guitarist and a founding member of "The Allman Brothers Band".
Touring all over America, Michael is spreading his family's blend of roots, rock, and blues. "I'm a singer and a gypsy who needs to fly another way," Allman said, quoting lyrics from his song It Ain't Me.
Michael performs his original songs form his album "Hard Labor Creek" like "If Dreams Were Money" and "Mule Named Whiskey" as well as songs from legendary "Allman Brothers Band".
Allman’s half-siblings, Layla Brooklyn Allman ("Picture Me Broken" band won a regional breakout artist competition as part of the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards); Devon Allman (heads the band Honeytribe), and Elijah Blue (son of Cher, singer and guitarist for the rock band "Deadsy"). [+]
