Michael Gerardi is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gerardi served as a law clerk for the Hon. Julia S. Gibbons of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and for the Hon. Stephen J. Murphy, III of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Since joining Latham, Mr. Gerardi has represented clients in patent infringement actions in district court, before the International Trade Commission and in the Federal Circuit. These cases involve a variety of industries, including telecommunications, e-commerce, cloud storage and online security. He contributes to all phases of complex litigation, including electronic discovery, dispositive motions, expert reports, pre- and post-trial briefing and appeals. Michael is licensed to practice in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Mr. Gerardi served as Senior Editor of the Notre Dame Law Review and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
