Music Over Judgement and Oppression (M.O.J.O)

"Music Over Judgment and Oppression" aka M.O.J.O, is a reggae band that combines ska, punk rock, Dub, and hip hop to create a sound that cannot be categorized.

Forming in the Washington, DC area in 2008, M.O.J.O has performed around the East Coast and on the famous Sunset Strip in Hollywood, CA at legendary venues such as The Roxy, Whisky a go go, and House of Blues just to name a few. M.O.J.O has opened for nationally known acts such as SOJA, Passafire, Tribal Seeds and Ballyhoo.

M.O.J.O's musical roots stem from their childhood days on the islands. Sean Millson, Chris Llaranes, and Wil Tafolo grew up with the music of the islands and never lost their love for reggae. Exposed to different music throughout their travels, they incorporate the different genres they love, to create a unique sound that anyone can groove to.

In January 2011, M.O.J.O released "The M.O.J.O Mixtape", their first studio material. Far from just a demo, the mixtape shows the versatile styles of the M.O.J.O sound.

New single just released on 4/20/12 "Get To Know You" off of soon to be released EP "Irie Days and Crazy Nights". [+]
