My Acoustic Heart

My Acoustic Heart is an artistic journey that came to life in the summer of 2011.

Front man and founder, Joshua Ortiz was born and raised in Midland, MI where he began songwriting at the age of twelve. In the basement of his parents’ quaint town home, his passion for music and connecting with people began to flourish.

If you’re looking for great storytelling with your songwriting, MAH can exceed your need. Their debut Ep “This Can’t End” includes songs like “This Morning Train” that puts you right in the middle of that experience.

Songs like “Lucy” and “Kendell” draw from the songwriters deep experiences that bring both heartbreak and triumph in the relationship quest. As well as the anthem “Can’t Sing Alone” which brings fans into the world of loss, lament, love, hope and discovery; a journey that My Acoustic Heart loves to be on.

Looking forward to the future, this singer/songwriter/storyteller is poised and ready to bring more and more hearts into the journey. You can expect a deep, meaningful conversation with each performance that will keep you engaged and singing right along.

This is an all-inclusive venture into life as you’ve lived it, finally put into song. Your heartbreak now has a voice. [+]
