Ángel Magdaleno Vázquez

Ángel Magdaleno Vazquez has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate sector with in-depth experience in urban planning and public law, including public procurement, infrastructure, environmental and administrative proceedings, and litigation related to Spain's Public Administration.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2015, Ángel acted as legal advisor to Spain's Planning Services for the capital city of Madrid as well as for local municipalities of more than 25,000 inhabitants in the Madrid metropolitan area where he revised the legal planning for more than 15 local authorities. He also participated in the strategic development and structural transactions of municipalities advising Arpegio S.A., the consortiums of local authorities in the Madrid Autonmous Community, and the local government of Villaviciosa de Odón in Madrid. Additionally he collaborated in the drafting of the Bases of the Regional Plan of the Territorial Strategy of Madrid, which was formulated by the General Directorate of Urban and Regional Planning of the Council of Madrid and adopted by the Assembly of Madrid on May 5, 1997.
