Nikolaos C. George Ph.D.

Nick George has been developing and evaluating biologics-based patent portfolios for more than 20 years. With an emphasis on antibodies, he has extensive experience in the strategic development, management, and prosecution of patent portfolios involving a wide range of technologies. Nick also advises on patentability, validity, infringement, and freedom-to-operate issues and performs due diligence evaluations concerning possible investment, licensing, or acquisition.

Nick has devised patent strategies involving antibodies, antibody drug conjugates, peptide therapeutics, stem cells, including induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS), CAR-T cells, antisense therapeutics, companion diagnostics, enzyme replacements, nutraceuticals, biopolymers, and nanoparticles, among others. Most recently, Nick has been advising on patent issues concerning the crowded immuno-oncology field. [1]
