Omar Samji

Omar Samji represents public and private energy companies, including independent, major and super major oil and gas companies, master limited partnerships (MLPs), oil field services companies, and private equity and alternative asset investors. He has completed more than $25 billion of upstream, midstream, downstream, offshore, LNG import/export, and oil field services transactions, in both distressed and non-distressed situations.

Omar advises clients in mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and other business combinations, asset acquisitions and dispositions, infrastructure and project development, commercial agreements, and corporate and partnership governance matters. He also has experience negotiating construction management agreements, operating and maintenance agreements, joint development and joint operating agreements, farm in and farm out arrangements, oil & gas purchase agreements, gathering and processing agreements, transportation and handling agreements, tank and railcar leasing agreements, and other commercial and project development arrangements.
