Shrouded in morning fog and characterized by its stony soils, Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley has been producing world-class Sauvignon Blanc for over a century and it’s no wonder the varietal has become the most important white wine in the region. The Owl Ridge 2014 Sauvignon Blanc is delicate straw-yellow in color and is richly aromatic with almost tropical floral notes complemented by hints of grapefruit, honeysuckle, and fresh melon. The wine is wonderfully balanced with intense flavors of grapefruit, vanilla and pear that offsets the wine’s decadent mouthfeel. A refreshing minerality gives way to a focused finished with crisp acidity - a product of this wine’s fermentation in stainless steel tanks. [+]
