Patrick K. O'Brien

Patrick O’Brien is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. O’Brien served as a law clerk to Judge D. Michael Fisher on the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Additionally, he served as a law clerk to Judge J. Frederick Motz on the US District Court for the District of Maryland.

Mr. O’Brien received his JD magna cum laude in 2013 from New York University School of Law, where he was a Florence Allen Scholar and was the associate competitions chair of the Moot Court Board. He was also an intern for the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York and the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. Mr. O’Brien holds an AB in Economics and Government from Georgetown University.
