Paul C. Hines

Paul Hines's practice focuses on the arbitration and litigation of complex international and domestic commercial disputes, as well as international trade compliance counseling and investigations.

Paul has represented clients in ICC arbitrations as well as litigation in state and federal courts and has provided pre-dispute counseling to clients to assist them in resolving disputes before litigation or arbitration becomes necessary. His experience includes contract-based disputes and disputes under federal and state antitrust laws. Paul also advises clients on economic sanctions programs administered by the U.S. Department of Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security. His experience in this area includes providing guidance on export and sanctions-related risks in proposed transactions, conducting internal compliance investigations, and advising on license applications to federal government agencies.
