Philip Fendt

Philip Fendt is an associate in the Hamburg office. He practices in the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department where he focuses on national and international litigation.

Mr. Fendt studied law in Hamburg and specialized in international and European private law and civil procedure. He also worked as an assistant at the well-known Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg. Besides that Mr. Fendt gained work experience abroad working as intern for companies in the United States, Canada and Japan.

As a part of his legal clerkship Mr. Fendt completed secondments to Latham & Watkins LLP as well as to other international law firms and business companies.

During his study and legal clerkship Mr. Fendt published articles on international, commercial and insurance law subjects, which are quoted in several legal commentaries and professional law journals.
