Philip Wang is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins.
Mr. Wang's practice focuses on large, complex patent litigations. He has represented clients in the semiconductor, computer software and pharmaceutical industries. He has trial experience in district courts, the International Trade Commission and the Patent Office.
Mr. Wang is also a registered patent attorney. He has been involved in more than 30 Patent Trial and Appeal Board proceedings for clients such as Qualtrics, NVIDIA and Actifio. As trial counsel for Qualtrics, he succeeded in invalidating four patents.
In each year since 2014, Mr. Wang has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine in the area of intellectual property litigation.
Mr. Wang is ranked as one of the top chess players in the United States. He holds the International Master title and was recently the California state chess champion.
