Raasay House

Raasay is considered a real ‘hidden gem’ for backpackers and budget travellers. Although we are off the beaten track we do have a great ferry connection to the Isle of Skye and Raasay House itself is a mere stones throw from the ferry terminal on this side. With a bus taking you direct to Sconser ferry terminal on the Isle of Skye, there really isn’t an easier way to step into a small authentic Hebridean island community before continuing your Isle of Skye itinerary.

Our ‘hostel style’ rooms have the price tag of private and shared hostel rooms whilst having access the same facilities as the rest of the house. If you are happy climbing a couple of flights of stairs and a TV isn’t top of your list of requirements then these simplistic rooms are the option for you.

Facilities Include:
FREE WiFi in public areas
HALF PRICE BIKE HIRE for Hostelworld Guests
Friendly Bar
Historic and Beautiful Guest Lounge
Packed Lunches

Laundry Services

As well as accommodation we offer a range of exciting outdoor activities such as Sea Kayaking, Coasteering and Archey.
