Hailing from Prescott, Arkansas, Rachel Hale is no stranger to the stage. While interning in Los Angeles for Patriot Records, Rachel auditioned for Season 12 of American Idol. Rachel was a featured contestant and was a top 20 female finalist competing in the “live” shows. The judges named her the “happiest contestant” because she was always smiling. Billboard ranked her performance of “Nothing But the Water” as one of the Top 12 Performances of the entire season. Due to American Idol, many doors have opened, and Rachel is currently writing, recording, and working on an EP in Nashville, TN. Rachel wants to share her music with the world in an effort to make it a better place, and she aims to do just that.
Rachel has also competed and won the opportunity to open for country star Tracy Byrd in Arkansas, and the following year, she opened for Joe Nichols. After being asked to perform an original song at Belmont’s “Homecoming in the Round” Concert she also shared the stage with legends such as Peter Frampton, Ricki Skaggs, Larry Stewart (lead singer of Restless Heart), Rachael Lampa, Ginny Owens, Drew Ramsey, Gordon Kennedy, Matt Wertz, and Ben Cooper.
