Watching RAL and David Alexander live is like combing an electronic show and a rock show into one. David is behind the DJ booth, but also singing back up vocals, and playing instruments. R.A.L sings and dances wildly while playing guitar and piano live on top of the beats. The duo also likes to remix songs, and have worked with many different artists in a myriad of genres. Don’t be surprised if you hear them play a deep house feeling song one second and go straight into rapping on a hip hop track next.

R.A.L and David Alexander discovered their mutual love for music while working as lifeguards in Los Angeles, California. Using live instruments, like acoustic guitar, piano, then adding synth loops and beats they created themselves, RAL and David Alexander successfully recorded their own 5 song E.P. “S.O.L.A.S-Safety of Life at Sea”. The album, which is a bold combination of rock, indie, and electronic pop, was released on their own label “Kyrious Records.

“S.O.L.A.S-Safety Of Life At Sea” released January of 2015, has gotten quite a buzz overseas in Europe. R.A.L spent three months playing shows and busking in six different countries. Their music is now being played in clubs from Amsterdam to Germany, and has been featured on radio stations in Spain. R.A.L has just returned home to California, where they will reunite and continue to tour in the United States
