Rayn Stigmon Jazz/Funk Project

Ryan Stigmon is an award winning saxophone player from Flagstaff, Arizona. He is the founder of the Jazz/Funk Project, and is an active musician around the Southwest, performing in many genres including Jazz, Funk, and Rock and Roll.

The Jazz Project can perform as a trio, quartet or quintet, and plays over 150 jazz standards as well as original music.

Ryan is currently working towards his music performance degree at Northern Arizona University. As a student, he is fortunate to work with such musicians such as Chris Finet, Stephen Dunn and Jonathan Bergeron. On top of a full course load, Ryan maintains a busy performing schedule throughout Arizona.

Ryan has also attended the Skidmore Summer Jazz Institute in New York where he received one on one instruction from Curtis Fuller, Matt Wilson and Pat LaBarbera.

While in high school, Ryan made both the Arizona All-State jazz bands along with receiving three outstanding soloist awards at the NAU Jazz Festival.

He continues to share his love for music with those around him.
