Reed Lightfoot

A New Orleans native, Reed Lightfoot started his performing career as a young teenager, being sneaked into bars and using fake IDs to be able to play with various groups in the New Orleans area. After discovering his love for songwriting, he began performing around various open mics in the New Orleans area. His aggressive gigging in the area built a fan base rather quickly, catapulting him from acoustic sets in low-key coffee houses, to tours both solo and with his band, The Collective, throughout the US.

His style- a thick gumbo of Blues, Jazz, Funk and Folk- lends a unique groove to the songs made by this Singer/Songwriter. A multi instrumentalist, Reed performs predominately as a singer and rhythm guitarist, but in the studio is well versed as a bassist, lead guitarist, keyboardist, pianist, drummer, percussionist, and violinist.

The grassroots-style, fan-driven and supported aspect of Reed's work has sustained the music, and continues to do so. Reed's debut album, "New Child", is now available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, and at his shows.
