Renee Plexousakis is an associate in the Litigation & Trial Department of Latham & Watkins. Ms. Plexousakis’ practice focuses on securities litigation and financial regulatory and compliance matters, as well as white collar defense and government investigations. Ms. Plexousakis has investigative experience opposite the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Food and Drug Administration, State Department and Department of Commerce. She has also advised clients on compliance and enforcement matters involving export control laws and regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Ms. Plexousakis has also worked with companies to review and enhance their internal compliance programs.
In 2014, Ms. Plexousakis was seconded to a major financial institution where she worked with the litigation group and managed the bank’s entire third-party discovery docket. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Plexousakis worked for the litigation division of the Humane Society of the United States.
