Resurrextion | Wiki | Everipedia, the encyclopedia of everything

Resurrextion has been rocking the East Coast for several years now, although collectively they’ve been playing for several decades. Longtime friends from Jersey City, they use their life experiences as a catalyst for their songs. Phil Ippolito belts out the bluesy tunes while slapping the bass. Meanwhile, guitarists Joey Herr and Andre Marinov’s dual lead styles give the music a modern twist on classic, southern rock. Drummer and percussionist, Johnny Burke, ties it all together to give them that Fillmoresque vibe. Having shared the stage with national acts such as Dickey Betts, Foghat, Johnny Lang, New Riders of the Purple Sage, and Mark Farner, to name just a few, they are more than capable of grabbing the audience’s attention and keeping it until the very last note is played. They are ready to hit the road in support of their first independently released CD titled, “Comin Home.” [+]
