Richard P. Puttré

Richard Puttré represents lenders, underwriters, and borrowers in conventional and complex financing structures, with a primary focus on cross-border project finance transactions. He counsels financial institutions, project sponsors, and investors in the development, financing, acquisition, and disposition of infrastructure companies and assets throughout the United States and Latin America.

Much of Richard's recent experience has focused on the renewable energy sector, representing the sponsors in connection with multiple hydroelectric generation projects in Panama, three photovoltaic solar plants in Peru, a wind power project in the Dominican Republic, and photovoltaic solar projects in Chile and Panama. His most recent transactions have involved multilateral financing entities, including the Inter-American Development Bank, International Finance Corporation, Overseas Private Investment Corporation, and Corporación Andina de Fomento as well as development finance institutions from Spain, Germany, France, and the Netherlands. He also represented the lenders in the leveraged lease financing of a large solar power plant in Nevada and in connection with various wind power projects throughout the United States. [1]
