Rob Lightner

West Virginia native Rob Lightner’s love for music and travel are rooted in his preschool memories of road trips in the family station wagon with his eyes on the road and his ears tuned to Late 70’s/Early 80’s FM Radio.

His eclectic musical taste and love of the road, decades later, is now stronger than ever!!! After years as a regional and national touring guitarist/vocalist with groups such as Rick K and The Allnighters and The Brass Knuckles Band…Rob has spent the past few years exploring his roots, acoustic guitar in hand; sharing with friends and fans, influences that include artists such as James Taylor, Sam Cooke, Bob Marley, Lyle Lovett, Rob Thomas, Keith Urban, and Kristian Bush of Sugarland fame. Rob currently spends his time on the road with Nashville Recording Artist and fellow West Virginian, Wyatt Turner, promoting the new Wyatt Turner single, “You Remind Me of West Virginia,” and performing his own music at concerts nationwide!!!

Rob Lightner’s shows include a mix of Acoustic Rock, Country, Soul, and More…with the possibility of anything from the past 50 years finding its way into the show…as well as his own original music, offbeat storytelling, and a playful, infectious laughter heard frequently during his banter with the audience.

A Rob Lightner show is all about kicking back and enjoying the trip…through uplifting, inspiring stories…through deep, thought provoking moments…and through times of laid back and carefree fun!!! [+]
