Robert Collins is a member of both the Litigation & Trial and Environmental, Land & Resources Departments. He has worked on a variety of litigation matters, focusing on complex commercial litigation and international arbitration.
Mr. Collins has worked on litigation in both federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels. His matters have involved contract disputes, business torts, indemnity and insurance coverage, veil-piercing, agency, privilege issues and environmental contamination. Mr. Collins has also represented energy clients, including in an international arbitration related to contract, tort and warranty claims, and has worked on an international internal investigation.
Mr. Collins actively participates in pro bono cases, having represented victims of domestic violence and children with disabilities. He is currently litigating a class action related to living conditions on behalf of several thousand prisoners in an Illinois correctional center.
