Robert J. Cardone

Bobby Cardone represents public and private companies, including private equity firms, in mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions, joint ventures, spin-offs, tender offers, and general corporate matters. He also assists clients with corporate governance matters and the day-to-day legal aspects of their organizations.

Bobby has advised clients in a variety of industries, including technology, energy, manufacturing, health care, financial services, telecommunications, and real estate. Prior to joining Jones Day in 2012 he was a transactional associate at an international law firm in Dallas. His experience there included, among other matters, representing a public telecommunications company in the sale of a significant business unit, a public oil field services company in a strategic joint venture, an information technology company on several strategic acquisitions, a public telecommunications company with respect to two public notes offerings, banks and issuers in finance transactions, and private equity firms on various strategic energy sector acquisitions as well as Dodd-Frank Act compliance and fund formation matters.
