Adam Shuntich is a well versed guitarist from the once great city of Youngstown, Ohio. Born in the heart of the Steel Valley, Adam is no stranger to hard work, often spending his summers working in a field or within the walls of the few remaining mills. His musical roots begin with his mother, who has spent most of her life as a big band and jazz singer. Adam began learning music at a young age, studying the guitar, piano, french horn, mandolin, bass, and cello.
Currently, Adam is a full time Music Business student at Anderson University. Now a junior, he has spent the last three years studying classical and jazz guitar under Dr. Mark Stanek and Prof. Jamie Johnson. He performs regularly with a variety of groups, such as Indy Klez (an Indianapolis based Jewish Klezmer band), and the Zou, an Ohio based indy-rock group. In late 2012, Adam joined forces with Youngstown singer/songwriter Ryan Ross, and became the head of his band, the Youngstown Syndicate. [+]
