Rytis Valunas

Rytis is a head of legal division at a Lithuanian state owned energy company. He manages a legal team that is responsible for execution of LNG Terminal project aimed at ensuring energy security and reliability of natural gas long-term supply in the country. He has also worked as an attorney at law specializing in business dispute resolution and lectured on international trade law and international law at Mykolas Romeris University. Rytis has interned at the European Commission, Cabinet of Commissioner for Customs, Taxation and Anti-fraud, acting as energy policy adviser. Rytis holds Joint Master in International Law Degree at Mykolas Romeris University and Ghent University, and LL.M. Degree with focus on international energy policy and international trade law at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Rytis has also studied at Harvard Law School and Lund University. [+]
