Saira Draper

Saira Draper's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and internal corporate investigations. Her experience includes managing discovery in pending litigation, conducting factual investigations relating to allegations implicating both criminal statutes and potential civil causes of action, drafting motions before federal and state courts, and participating in and leading successful settlement negotiations on behalf of clients. Currently, Saira is a member of a litigation team that represents one of the three major consumer reporting agencies in its national defense of consumer litigation cases under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Saira also maintains an active pro bono practice. She is the Atlanta Office's team leader for Jones Day's firmwide effort to assist in the unaccompanied minors crisis. Recently, Saira secured an order making the necessary special findings to permit an unaccompanied minor to seek Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, which would permit the child to obtain lawful permanent residency. She also represents several clients in Atlanta Immigration Court. Saira volunteers with the Georgia Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers' Association (AILA) Attorney of the Day Project in Immigration Court, where she provides free legal screenings to unrepresented children and their guardians.
