Sandeep Parekh is the Founder of Finsec Law Advisors, a financial sector law firm based in Mumbai, India. Parekh has worked in the fields of securities regulations, investment regulations, private equity, corporate governance and financial regulations. He was previously Executive Director at the Securities and Exchange Board of India, the country's securities regulator, where he headed the legal affairs and enforcement departments. He also worked for a law firm in Delhi and Mumbai, as well as for Wilmer Hale, a law firm in Washington DC. Parekh obtained an LLM degree in Securities and Financial Regulations from Georgetown University and an LLB degree from Delhi University.
