Scale Model

Scale Model is an indie synth-rock/pop/new wave band based in Nashville, TN. They combine interweaving guitars and snythesizers with catchy vocal melodies and a danceable rhythm section to create a sound that transcends the staples of pop.

After relocating to Nashville from Chicago in 2009, singer/keyboardist Megan Rox and guitarist Dave Johnson re-formed the band in 2011. They released a self-titled EP in August of 2012, and began working on their debut full-length album Star in 2013. It was tracked with Jeremy Ferguson at Battletapes (Turbo Fruits, Tristen) and Brian Carter at Paradox Productions (Glossary, The Nobility, The Features), and mixed by Matt Mahaffey (Self, Beck, Prince, The Sounds, Pink).

"If you haven’t had the pleasure of hearing Scale Model yet, let us be the first to tell you: you’re in for a treat. The Nashville four-piece plays an infectious blend of synth melodies and danceable drum beats, and tops it all off with some of the best female vocals Music City has to offer."
