Scott Westhoff is a member of the Latham & Watkins Corporate Department. His practice focuses on capital markets transactions, public company representation, corporate governance matters and mergers and acquisitions. Since joining the firm in 2012, Mr. Westhoff has gained experience in a variety of corporate transactions, including representing issuers, underwriters and initial purchasers in connection with public and private debt, equity offerings and initial public offerings in a broad array of industries, including biotech, financial services, food distribution, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and transportation. He also advises several public company clients on a day-to-day basis, including assisting them in the preparation and filing of ’34 Act reports, corporate governance and securities law issues.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Westhoff worked as a sales consultant for a Fortune 500 company. Mr. Westhoff received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the Henry B. Tippie College of Business at The University of Iowa.
